For the past several days I was #18 for funny t-shirts yesterday on all google servers. Now I'm not in the top 500.

Funny-tshirts.com, my biggest competitor, was #2. They are now #390.

I noticed all the sites there were last updated on 11/20 and yet my stats say my last google crawl was 11/19.

Does Google still have more shuffling to do? Could it be that our servers were down when Google came crawling yesterday?

What do you think?

Yes there are some big changes going on with the last google index. We think they are testing some future upgrades to the algorithm. From what we see only sites that don’t follow the rules google like having link farms and linking to sites not in their industry and having poor keyword density are getting hit the hardest. It’s getting much harder to fool google. Our suggestion is to keep linking to sites similar to yours and use the right keywords without spamming (more than 10 to 20 on a page). Also our servers were up all day yesterday. We are however switching to a new server on the 22nd.
Thanks
