Hi, first of im not sure if this is the right place to put this so if it isnt, sorry.

Anyways i have yet to order but before i do i have a question.

Is their a way that i can take a part of my site and give it to a friend, like say i wanted to give him his own 100mb and 2gb of bandwidth, could i make him a little account or something and limit what he gets? and if so what would the url be, like friend.mysite.com or like mysite.com/friend

the only way to allocate a portion of your hosting to others is to purchase a reseler account. Reseller (or mulit domain hosting ) accounts can allocate space and provide users with their own cpanel

im still a little confused, by multi domain you mean that each person would have www.hisname.com because all i want is just to have www.myname.com/hisname and i guess they dont need a whole cpanel, i just want them only to be able to access their portion on the ftp.

i think ive found what i ment. I was looking at the silver plan under add-on domains and subdomains and it looks like just what i was thinking of, like i could make my friend his own friend.mysite.com thing, and isnt their a way to password the folders on ftp? so he could only get into his? not sure tho, just really confused , i guess i dont have to monitor what resources they are using either since i could just yell at them
