Ok, since my board is still relatively new, I rely on much of the older content to provide material for newcomers. Unfortuneatly it is set to only display the last 30 days.... how do I change this. I looked all over and can't seem to figure it out. I don't want the newbies to log on, not see any info and therefor not contribute.

Thanks,
Ed

Assuming your using Invision Power Board, when you make a forum it defults to display only 30days.
You need to make sure you change this to show all under "Default date cut off for topic display"

To change your current view just login to your admin panel
-click on "Forum control" on the left
-click "Manage Forums" and you will see all your forums on the right hand side.
-Click "Settings" under the forums you want to change and under "Default date cut off for topic display" select "Show All" (change it from "Last 30 days")

Thats it...enjoy

THANK YOU!!! I just couldn't seem to find it. I was looking for an overall setting change. Didn't think of doing it on a forum by forum basis.
